Olaplex

What is Olaplex?

Olpalex is a revolutionary new product that has taken America and the UK by storm! It is redefining the way that hair is coloured and how we treat damaged hair.

Olaplex is not a hair conditioning treatment. It reconnects broken disulfide bonds in hair. These bonds can be damaged by blow drying, curling irons, and/or colour, texture or straightening services.

Olaplex allows us to work with damaged hair and provide treatments in one session that before would have to be completed over two or more sessions. The two step treatment rejuvenates damaged, fragile and lifeless hair. Colour tones also last longer without fading and colour corrections are are simpler.

It rebuilds the strength, structure and integrity of your hair as well as improving condition and shine. Allowing us to do colours and combinations that we could only have dreamed of before.

How long does it last?

Olaplex is a permanent treatment, the condition of your hair thereafter is dependent on how you treat it.

Does it have to be used with colour?

Olaplex can be used as a ‘stand alone service’ to help improve your hair condition or if you are planning a big treatment. It can be used with keratin treatments and permanent forming.

Olaplex

If your stylist recommends you have an Olaplex service we strongly advise you go ahead with the service.  The difference in your hairs strength and integrity will be outstanding and will allow us to get your hair immediately back into top condition.

Olaplex Treatment

Olpalex Number 1
Bond Multiplier is used – this can be used as a standalone treatment, or if you are having a colour treatment can be mixed with the bleach and put straight onto your hair foils.

Olaplex Number 2
Bond Perfector – this is put onto the hair once the bleach has been rinsed out. It is left on for at least 20 minutes to allow the chemical mending process to work.

Olaplex Number 3
Hair Perfector – The third step is an optional take home treatment, your stylist will recommend how often you should use it. You should apply it to damp hair, comb through and leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes before washing as normal. If you want to maximise the effect, it can be left on overnight.
